NYISO’s Operating Committee approved the system upgrade facilities and system deliverability upgrade studies for Class Year 2023.

The NYISO OC has approved the class year 2021 study report; now generation developers must decide whether to accept or reject their cost allocations.

NYISO stakeholders voted to recommend the ISO’s Class Year 2021 study results and cost allocations advance to a vote by the Operating Committee.

About 40% of the proposed capacity seeking interconnection in NYISO’s class year 2021 is not deliverable without expensive upgrades, the ISO reported.
