A vote on schedule changes to accommodate spot-in sales between PJM and NYISO was delayed at the Market Implementation Committee meeting.

The PJM Market Implementation Committee endorsed two proposed Manual 11 revisions related to shortage pricing, both of which were developed in response to FERC Order 825.

PJM held a special session of the MIC on Wednesday, where stakeholders debated implementing unlimited service along the NYISO-PJM seam.

PJM and NYISO are continuing their efforts to identify a spot-in transmission solution at a special PJM Market Implementation Committee meeting Dec. 21.

The PJM Market Implementation Committee discussed rules for releasing excess capacity, a plan to “un-nest” operating parameters and spot-in transmission from NYISO.
